Attorney Audrey B. Blondin
Attorney B. Blondin is a 1975 graduate of Southern Connecticut State University magna cum laude, and a 1979 graduate of Temple University School of Law. She also received a certificate of Public Health from the University of Connecticut School of Public Health, May 2009 and is currently a part-time MPH student at UCONN.
he was born and raised in West Haven and Orange Connecticut, graduated from the Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall in 1971 and has practiced law in the Torrington and Litchfield area for over 35 years where she has Torrington's oldest woman owned law firm and the only mother-daughter law firm in Litchfield County, Blondin Law Offices.
Her primary areas of practice include real estate, wills, estate planning and probate, juvenile, family and animal law. She is a member of the Connecticut and Litchfield County Bar Associations and serves as the co-founder and Secretary/Treasurer of VOSH-Connecticut (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity). Attorney Blondin has lobbied in Washington, D.C. on behalf of responsible bankruptcy reform, has performed relief mission work in Nicaragua since 1999, and was a member of the first delegation of women attorney's to visit mainland China. She has published a number of articles and opinion pieces in local newspapers including the Hartford Current and The Connecticut Law Tribune. She also served as a member of the Litchfield Board of Selectmen from 1993 - 2003 and was Litchfield's longest serving Democratic woman member of the Board of Selectmen. She was a member of the Connecticut Delegation to the 2000, 2004, 2012 and upcoming 2016 Democratic National Conventions and was a candidate for Secretary of the State 2006. She is currently serving her 8th term as a member of the Democratic State Central Committee representing the 30th District of 14 towns in the Northwest Corner. She is married to Torrington Optometrist Dr. Matthew Blondin and they have 3 children, along with an adopted son from Nicaragua and 6 grandchildren.
Attorney Rose A. Blondin Shea
Rose A. Blondin Shea graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emmanuel College in 2011 and Cum Laude from Suffolk University Law School in 2014. She was born and raised in Litchfield, Connecticut, graduating from Saint Paul Catholic High School in 2007.
Her primary areas of practice include Nonprofit law, Small business law, LLC Formation & Dissolution, Bankruptcy, Estate planning and Real estate law. Rose is also a member of the Connecticut and Litchfield County Bar Association. She is married to Torrington Optometrist Dr. Michael L. Shea.
